Corel Announces Major Bundling Agreement With Lexmark

 

Ottawa, Canada— April 12, 1999— Corel Corporation is announcing a worldwide bundling agreement with Lexmark International. The agreement, effective until July 31, 2000, provides for Corel Print House™ Magic 4 to be bundled with select Lexmark inkjet printers, starting with the Lexmark Z51 Color Jetprinter.

"The Z51 Color Jetprinter is a high performance, color inkjet printer, perfect for the professionals and families that use Corel Print House Magic."

Corel Print House Magic 4 will be offered in multiple languages on the Lexmark printers, including US English, International English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Brazilian Portugese, Japanese, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese.

Corel Print House Magic 4 is an easy-to-use, powerful graphics suite suitable for users of all ages. It provides wizards and advanced drawing tools to help users create their own printed materials, such as greeting cards, calendars, banners, paper toys and other stationary items. It also provides thousands of fully customizable samples and templates that let users create printed stationary items quickly and easily.

The Lexmark Z51 Color Jetprinter delivers the highest resolution in its category (1200 x 1200 dpi), the fastest print speeds in its class (up to 10 ppm in black text and 5 ppm in color), and features Lexmark's exclusive Accu-Feed system for virtually jam-proof feeding of all types of media. It also boasts a new microscopic ink drop technology that achieves remarkable photo quality output even on copy grade paper. The Lexmark Z51 is priced at an affordable US $279**.
